Qualitative Evaluation of The Children's Sensorium Sensorial Contemporary Arts, Mindfulness and Play for Children's Post-Pandemic Recovery – Qualitative Evaluation of The Children's Sensorium

2022

In 2022, Live Particle was invited to collaborate with a group of curators, artists and mental health researchers on a new interactive exhibition at The Big Anxiety hosted by RMIT University. The outcome was The Children’s Sensorium featuring light, colour, touch, sound, smell and taste to activate children’s curiosity, connect them to local Kulin country, and introduce strategies and techniques that support emotional resilience and wellbeing. This article is a qualitative evaluation of The Children's Sensorium.

The Art of Embodiment

2021

After many months of hard slog through COVID lockdowns, this book was finally published in July 2021. We are delighted to have a chapter - Embodied Education: Radicalising the Way We Live and Learn.

Gathered here is a diverse collection of practitioner accounts, theories, and reflections that share an abiding love and respect for human design, movement and body-mind intelligence. This collection evidences a mature community that takes seriously the processes of thinking bodies and moving minds.

The Art of Embodiment, published by the Dance Movement Therapy Association of Australasia (DTAA) with the Body-Mind Centering® Association.
