Field Note From Care Workers -
Slow Sensing

Bus Radio
2020

Slow Sensing featured in Sofie Burgoyne’s Bus Projects work ‘Field Notes from Care Workers’.  This was a series of encounters between human and more-than-human beings who consider care as a part of their work. Every Thursday at sunset, a new work was broadcast live on Bus Radio for 7 days only.

As artist-educators, we (Live Particle) aim to grow human capacity for positive change by consciously directing attention, surfacing cellular intelligence and harnessing innate creativity at the personal, collective and environmental level.

We do this by slow sensing, curious inquiry, playful, improvisation, meandering conversation, and taking time to care. These acts of connection, whether they are with ourselves, our environments or others, aim to direct attention toward the fluid continuums of life. They communicate at a deeper level and across seemingly impenetrable boundaries – a psycho-physical salve for these harsh times.
